Valentine's Day: 25 and Grateful for Love

It's a week before Valentine's Day as I publish this post, I actually find Valentine's Day a bit commercialized as it highlights a lot of giving and all that promos you see over the city - and it ending up to fall on a Sunday, nah! TRAFFIC.

I turn 25 by this year and I am grateful for the love I had been receiving, be it not "romantic" as of yet.

My parents has always been supportive of what I do, finishing college, finishing my MA, working in a school, writing about pageants, trying out new things, name it, they are there to support me. They actually asked me if I would like to take a Doctoral Degree - sabi ko "hinay hinay lang". I love them with all of me.

 

I am grateful for my second family - Engr. Elmerito Pineda, Luke, Aura and Karl, practically have not seen each other for a long time, but the bond had always been there. I am grateful for the gift of friendship that transcends all borders. Wala ako today if not for them, particularly si EDP, who treated me much more like his own. 

I am grateful for the love of friends, a perfect example are two good ones: Richmond and K, who kept my sanity while taking up the MA program. Yes, nakakabaliw mag-MA. 

Of course there are my dearest colleagues, whom I shared a lot of good times with, take this for example, my babe: Faye, I'd like to say that I am thankful for the love she has always shared with me.

I am grateful that I was acknowledged - even if I don't intend to by PEPPS and Misters. Saying Hi to AR, Karan and Don McGyver. Looking forward to watching the 2016 contest.

Lastly, I am grateful for the love I found in having a best friend like Simon Ogbac, I may not be easy to deal with, but you made things better as you go all the way.
